BEL AIR, MD — For its 65th anniversary, Har-co Credit Union unveiled a new logo. The old logo was a cutout in the shape of Harford County. The new logo includes the addition of people and colors.

It was designed to highlight the people the company serves and its product offerings, according to a statement from Har-co Credit Union President/CEO Gilbert Kennedy, who noted in 2018 the company expanded its client base from those in the education community to all citizens in Harford County and those who work, worship attend school and have family there.

"To represent our refocusing efforts, our Har-co Team thought a Brand Logo change was needed. Although this Brand Logo was not significantly altered, we wanted it to be a reintroduction of this institution’s long tenured service in our Community," Kennedy said in a statement.

"The Harford County shaped cut-outs represent our Membership Community, from the County’s Education Community and from the Community at Large, all of who we are so grateful and so fortunate to serve," Kennedy continued. "Our new color scheme is more vibrant representing our excitement and renewed focus on our Members."

Har-co Credit Union was founded in 1955 and since then, Kennedy said: "What will always be special are our people."
