Harford County Coronavirus: Where To Get Tested
Harford County officials remind residents of authorized coronavirus testing sites amid pop-up COVID-19 testing scams.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Coronavirus testing in Harford County will not be set up outside a store or shopping center or on the side of the road, the Harford County Sheriff's Office advised Monday. Scammers have created testing sites intended to steal people's identities, officials said.
Attorney General Brian Frosh recently issued an alerted as well about coronavirus testing scams after sites had been set up in these types of locations in Baltimore City.
“Consumers in need of a COVID-19 test should have it performed at an approved testing site,” Frosh said, pointing people to the 240 state-approved coronavirus testing locations.

"Providing personal information, such as Social Security numbers, to individuals hosting one of these pop-up sites not only puts your health at risk, but increases your chances of becoming a victim of identity theft.”

ABERDEEN
- Aberdeen Upper Chesapeake mobile testing is next to Target at 650 McHenry Road in a climate-controlled building on the grounds of the new medical campus; appointments are required.
- ChoiceOne Urgent Care - Aberdeen, 744 South Philadelphia Blvd., diagnostic and antibody testing at an off-site lab.

Harford County has 8,323 confirmed cases of the coronavirus as of Monday, Dec. 28, according to state health data.
Officials say 147 people in Harford County have died from COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, as of Monday, and four deaths are suspected to be related to COVID-19, but test results are pending.
