Forest Hill Entrepreneur Credits Harford County Community For 39 Years Of Support

FOREST HILL, MD — When a brick-and-mortar storefront doesn't fit into a business plan, the next best approach for an entrepreneur is to venture out and meet customers where they're at.

Lana Amoroso of Forest Hill travels to numerous events across Harford County including church bazaars, festivals, fairs and more to share with current and potential customers what products she has to offer as a longtime Avon representative.

"The people here in Harford County are amazing and pretty wonderful. I started selling Avon in 1985 and people have supported me for a lot of years and for that, I am extremely grateful. I love all of them and many of them have become close friends. Truly blessed to have all of them in my life," Amoroso told Patch.

In her line of work, she sells makeup, jewelry, clothing, vitamins, shoes, skin care products, cologne and perfume, to name a few items.

"I work mostly with women but also some men. They're right here in Maryland and across the country clear out to California," Amoroso told Patch.
