Harford County Holiday Closings For Presidents Day 2019
On Presidents Day, several facilities in Harford County will be closed.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Monday is Presidents Day. Celebrated on the third Monday in February, the holiday recognizes President George Washington's birthday. He was born on Feb. 22, 1732.
Some consider Presidents Day a time to celebrate the birthdays of both Washington on Feb. 22 and President Abraham Lincoln, who was born Feb. 12, 1809.
In any event, the federal holiday means some places will be closed.

Harford County government offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 18.

Harford County Public Schools and school offices will be closed.
All branches of the Harford County Public Library will be closed on Feb. 18.
The town of Bel Air recognizes Presidents Day as a federal holiday. Trash that was to be picked up in Bel Air will instead be collected on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Bulk trash pickup is canceled this week.
Most banks and the stock market will be closed.
Mail will not be sent or delivered, according to the U.S. Postal Service.
