Harford County Executive Bob Cassilly recognized National Procurement Month in March by honoring the professionals in his administration who have saved taxpayers $10 million to date through careful negotiations and best practices.

Harford’s procurement department works with vendors and establishes appropriate procedures for acquiring supplies, equipment, and contractual services on behalf of all county government departments and allied agencies. The department handles a broad range of necessary purchases such as ambulances, playground equipment, road maintenance services, utilities, and IT equipment.

“I would like to thank my procurement team for upholding the highest ethical standards and consistently achieving the best value on essential purchases,” County Executive Bob Cassilly said. “Their efforts reflect my administration’s dedication to professionalism and careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars.”
