UPDATE: Harford County Public Schools Cancel Classes For Feb. 23
The incoming snowstorm has prompted Harford County Public Schools to change how classes will operate on Monday, Feb. 23.

BEL AIR, MD — Harford County Public Schools has said that all classes are canceled for Monday, Feb. 23.
The school district website said Sunday night: "Harford County Public Schools will be closed Monday, February 23, 2026. No afterschool or evening activities. Essential personnel should await further instruction.

"The Board of Education Public Business Meeting, scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 7:00 p.m."
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning until 10 a.m. Monday for Harford and Howard counties with total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches with localized amounts around 12 inches in northeast Maryland. Northwest winds gusting between 30 and 45 mph overnight through Monday.
