Harford County Public Schools Issue Closing Notice

Harford County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 26, school officials announced Monday afternoon.

The school system will be on code green.

In code green, schools and offices are closed; daycare and evening activities are also canceled.

Those who are identified as essential personnel will report according to specific directions upon arrival. No second shift custodians will be on duty. Essential personnel should await further instruction for reporting times.

Some parts of the county received more than 2 feet of snow between Friday and Sunday, and county and state officials were advising drivers to stay off the roads.

Schools were also closed on Monday in Harford County.
