Harford County Public Schools Launches Career Coaching Program To Help Students

Students now will have additional help planning for the future with the addition of a Career Coaching Program at HCPS.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — In an effort to help students make plans for their future, Harford County Public Schools has teamed up with Harford Community College and Susquehanna Workforce Network to bring a Career Coaching Program to the school district.

Susquehanna Workforce Network will hire 12 new dedicated career coaches. HCC will provide professional training and help facilitate connections to opportunities for dually-enrolled HCPS students.

“Collaborations like this are key to the success of our students and we are thrilled to join forces with these amazing partners to implement the Career Coaching program,” said Harford County Public Schools Superintendent Sean Bulson. “It’s our hope that with the support of Harford Community College and the Susquehanna Workforce Network, this program will empower our students with the guidance and resources they need to pave their way to a successful future.”
