Harford County Public Schools Make Weather Decision

Public schools in Harford County will be delayed two hours on Wednesday, Jan. 7, according to Harford County Public Schools.

Morning prekindergarten has been canceled.

The delay came after schools were closed Tuesday due to snow.

Tuesday’s snowfall caused many surfaces to be icy Wednesday morning, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority, which advised being extra careful while walking to and from vehicles and driving on the morning commute.

Wednesday’s forecast for Harford County showed a slight chance of snow before noon, with wind chills of -3 degrees.
