Harford County Redistricting Likely Means Few Changes
The Harford County Council is expected to introduce a bill Tuesday that has a map far different from the redistricting commission's proposal.

Under the commission’s recommendation of “Alternative 4f”, 21 precincts would be shifted. But the council’s proposal would more closely reflect “Alternative 3b” and move about five precincts, according to the council member.

The council member said the proposed bill may not exactly match “Alternative 3b.”
The report stated that “[A]lternative 3b was a favorite among the alternatives.”
After Tuesday’s expected introduction, a public hearing on the bill would be scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15. The council has until Nov. 22 to approve its own map and override the commission’s recommendation.
