Firefighters with the Level Volunteer Fire Company, the Harford County Volunteer Swift Water Rescue Team and the Harford County Department of Emergency Services Special Operations Team responded to the call to help free the cow. They hoofed it over to a pond in the 3900 block of Rock Run Road, according to the Harford County Department of Emergency Services.
According to the county, rescuers "developed a plan to moooove Betsy safely back on dry land. If the first plan did not work, they would try an-udder. Our responders truly are legen-dairy."
