Green Blanket-Wearing Robbery Suspect Wanted: Harford Sheriff

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Investigators say they are looking for one man in connection with two robbery cases in Harford County. The Forest Hill 7-Eleven and Joppa Redner's Warehouse Market were both targeted by a man wearing a green blanket on Thursday, Dec. 21, officials said.

At 2:48 a.m. on Dec. 21, officers were dispatched to the 7-Eleven in the 1500 block of Rock Spring Road for a report of a robbery. A man had walked in, demanded cash and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the sheriff's office.

Later the same morning, deputies responded to Redner's Warehouse Market in the 1000 block of Joppa Farm Road for the report of an attempted robbery.

The suspect in both cases was described as a white man of medium build who was 6 feet to 6-feet-4-inches tall. He was wearing a green blanket around his face, a black jacket and a gray hoodie.

"At this time, it is believed the crimes were committed by the same suspect," the sheriff's office said in a statement on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
