Harford County Under Flood Watch, Up To 3 Inches Of Rain Expected
Weather officials anticipate 1 to 2 inches of rain with up to 3 inches of rain possible during the flood watch in Harford County.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The potential for heavy rainfall that could leave 3 inches of rain has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flood watch for parts of Maryland, including Harford County.
Rounds of rain will fall Thursday afternoon through early Friday. The heaviest rain is expected Thursday afternoon and evening, officials said. Low-lying areas and those with poor drainage may flood. Smaller streams and rivers could overflow their banks, according to the flood watch.
The flood watch is in effect from 1 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday. During that time, weather officials anticipate 1 to 2 inches of rain with up to 3 inches of rain possible.

- Calvert County
- Charles County
- Harford County
