Cold Night Ahead for Central Maryland as Temps to Drop Below Freezing
A freeze warning has been issued for several Maryland counties Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
UPDATED at 2 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for several Maryland counties, effective from 3 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
A freeze warning means that below-freezing temperatures are highly likely and will kill sensitive vegetation that is not covered, according to weather officials.
Temperatures are expected to be 30 to 32 degrees.

The freeze warning includes the following areas: Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
These cities may be affected, weather officials say: Washington, Baltimore, Bowie, Suitland-Silver Hill, Clinton, College Park, Greenbelt, Laurel, Camp Springs, Glen Burnie, Annapolis, Severn, South Gate, Severna Park, Arnold, Odenton, Germantown, Damascus, Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Silver Spring, Lisbon, Columbia, Ellicott City, and Aberdeen, among others.
