Harford County Under Winter Weather Advisory

Parts of Harford County are under a winter weather advisory for freezing rain.

Northwest and southeast Harford may experience a trace of ice due to freezing rain, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a winter weather advisory until 5 a.m. Tuesday.

There is potential for icy patches on untreated surfaces in Jarrettsville and Aberdeen, in particular, according to the weather service.

Nearby, Cecil County is under a winter weather advisory until 6 a.m. Tuesday, with the possibility of less than an inch of sleet and freezing rain that may cause slippery spots.

Baltimore, Carroll, Howard and Anne Arundel counties are under a winter weather advisory until 5 a.m. Tuesday as well.
