A winter weather advisory means that travel may become difficult. Roads may be snow-covered, and visibility may be reduced due to gusty winds.

State highway crews began treating roads with brine on Wednesday in anticipation of the winter weather, but drivers are advised to use extra caution and increase following distance if they must be out on the roads.
