Harford County Winter Storm Warning: 11 Inches Of Snow Possible
A winter storm warning is in effect for Harford County until Tuesday morning.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Forecasters are calling for up to a foot of snow in Harford County. The National Weather Service placed the Baltimore metro region, including Harford County, under a winter storm warning until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Snow will be the steadiest Sunday afternoon and early evening, according to the warning, which says it will mix with sleet and freezing rain Sunday night.
Sleet, snow and freezing rain will fall intermittently overnight then transition to a steady snowfall late Monday morning, with flakes falling through Monday night.

About 6 to 10 inches of snow and 0.1-inch ice are expected to accumulate in Harford County, according to the winter storm warning. Higher amounts could occur in the northern part of the county, where Norrisville may see 11 inches of snow, based on the National Weather Service's projections.

The winter storm warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday for Harford along with Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Frederick, Howard, Montgomery and Washington counties and Baltimore City.
The high in Harford County is 30 degrees Sunday, 32 degrees Monday and 33 degrees Tuesday, based on the National Weather Service forecast for Bel Air.
With temperatures below freezing combined with wintry weather, the National Weather Service warns travel will be very difficult through Tuesday.
Those who must be on the road should keep an emergency kit with flashlight, food and water.
People should watch their first few steps on the sidewalks, driveways and stairs, which may be icy and slippery.
Harford County emergency officials encourage drivers to park off the street, and if they must, to park on the even-numbered side of the road to give plows better access.
