Harford County Executive Barry Glassman joined with other county officials on November 22 to dedicate the first county-owned EMS station.

Located at 50 Pylesville Road, the new North Harford Station will have space for an ambulance and special operations equipment, including a swift water rescue boat.

Because northern Harford County is rural and mainly without hydrants, the station has an underground, 30,000-gallon water tank to serve local volunteer fire companies.
