DWI Checkpoint Slated for Super Bowl Sunday: Sheriff
The Harford County Sheriff's Office announces two-hour window when deputies will be watching out for drunk drivers on Feb. 7.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD – If you’re planning to drink a few beers while watching the Super Bowl next weekend, plan your ride home as well.
There will be a sobriety checkpoint in Harford County on Sunday, Feb. 7, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
The initiative coincides with the Super Bowl, which starts at 6:30 p.m. EST on Sunday, Feb. 7, featuring a matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos. The game takes place at Levi’s Stadium near San Francisco.

Here in Harford County, deputies will be on the lookout for those driving while intoxicated (DWI) between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., the sheriff’s office reports.
The legal limit for alcohol consumption while driving is .08 percent blood alcohol content.
