Harford Youth Orchestra and Harford String Orchestra Spring Concert to be Performed in April

The Harford Youth Orchestra and Harford String Orchestra will be presenting their 17th season spring concert on Saturday, April 23 at 12:30 PM at Edgewood High School, 2415 Willoughby Beach Rd., in Edgewood. The concert will include works ranging from the Romantic period to the 20th century and will feature Miss Chloe Leed, winner of the 2016 HYO Concerto Competition. Miss Leed will be performing Concertino for Flute and Orchestra by Cecile Chaminade. The concert is open to the public; admission is free.

The Harford Youth Orchestra is a 70-member high school-aged orchestra under the direction of Mr. Brian Folus. The Harford String Orchestra is a 40-member middle school-aged string orchestra under the direction of Ms. Wesley Thompson.
