BEL AIR, MD — This weekend in and around Bel Air there are Halloween-themed happenings, such as Harriet's Happiest Halloween at Harford Community College, a pet costume contest at Art to Soul Galleria in Fallston and Halloween Hike and Campfire in Abingdon. There are also a couple of festivals — Slavic culture will be celebrated at the Slavic Heritage Festival in Joppa, and craft beer, wine and whiskey will be on tap at the Hop 2 Harvest Festival in Bel Air.

1st Annual Benefit for Cleaning for a Reason
Friday, October 18 at 6:00 pm
Must be 21 or older to attend this event, benefiting the nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason, which provides free cleaning services for those undergoing cancer treatment. Silent Auction - Raffle Baskets - 50/50 - Door Prizes. Ticket price includes a complimentary DeJon Vineyards wide glass with free wine tastings. Cash wine bar, thereafter. 40 Years of Harford Harmony At The John Carroll School
Saturday, October 19 at 2:30 pm

Three award-winning choruses with 85 male and female barbershop harmony singers share the John Carroll stage to celebrate the Bay Country Gentlemen's 40th year. Slavic Heritage Festival In Joppa

The festival will take place on October 19th and October 20th from 12-7pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 2807 Mountain Road, Joppa, MD. The community of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Historic Village will be hosting the event. We are very excited to promote Slavic unity through this event. The event at Anita C. Leight Estuary Center includes a 0.75-mile hike followed by campfire with marshmallows.
Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company Open House

The open house runs from noon to 4 p.m. at all three firehouses: Bel Air, Forest Hill and Patterson Mill.
