Maryland MEP Announces Growth of Baltimore-based Tenax Corporation

Columbia, Md. – The Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership, supporting and celebrating companies that invest in Maryland, is pleased to announce the growth of Tenax Corp., a Baltimore-based manufacturer of fencing and other containment products.

When it comes to plastic fences and barriers, Tenax’s products are simply the best. After setting the industry standard for more than 50 years, Tenax recently invested $4.5 million into its Baltimore headquarters in an effort to provide quicker and more efficient service to its customers, expand into new markets and increase its capabilities.

Tenax’s investment over the past two years has led to a 45,000-square-foot facility expansion, a 20 percent capacity increase for the consumer market products and five new machines, including four extruders and one ram stretcher.
