Harford Sheriff: Man Missing in Abingdon Located

Authorities said missing man was found Thursday night.

UPDATE (8:38 p.m.)—Alphonso Grice was found safe and unharmed, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported at 8:37 p.m. He was located at approximately 7:30 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

Previous report: The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a missing 82-year-old man.

Alphonso Grice was last seen on Autumn Leaf Court in Abingdon, according to the sheriff’s office.

He is walking and wearing black jeans, a World War II hat, black/blue coat and black shoes, the sheriff’s office reported.

There was a potential sighting in Box Hill, the sheriff’s office said before 4 p.m., and deputies are searching the area.
