One Killed in Mountain Road Crash: Police
A box truck driver died and another driver was injured after a head-on collision in Fallston Wednesday, Maryland State Police reported.
Fallston, MD — One person died and another was injured due to a crash near the intersection of Mountain and Belair roads before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officials said.
Mountain Road was closed for approximately three hours, according to Maryland State Police.
The head-on collision happened in the 300 block of Mountain Road, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

At least one person was trapped in the crash, he said, noting a medevac was requested, but due to weather it was unavailable.
Conrad G. Gilbert, 57, of Essex, was pronounced deceased at the scene, police reported. He had been driving a Ford E-350 box truck.

Police said that a 17-year-old from Baldwin was driving a 2015 Ford F-250 north on Mountain Road approaching Belair Road when, "for unknown reasons," his vehicle crossed the yellow line, drove into southbound traffic and collided with Gilbert's box truck.
The teen, who was not identified, was taken to the Johns Hopkins Bayview with critical injuries, officials said. Gilbert was pronounced deceased.
