Heavy Fire Showing at House Near Churchville: Officials

Crews are at the scene of a house fire Friday morning off MD 136, Harford County emergency personnel report.

Firefighters were battling a house fire near Bel Air Friday morning, according to officials.

There was “heavy fire” visible on the second floor of a home in the 2600 block of Cool Spring Road when crews arrived, and firefighters at the scene had requested assistance, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

By noon, Chenworth said the fire was still active and the Office of the State Fire Marshal was there to investigate.

All people inside the residence were accounted for, and there were no injuries, according to Chenworth.
