Heavy Object to Affect Traffic Near Perryman
Constellation Energy is transporting a large generator along several area highways, Harford County officials say.

Drivers should be on the lookout through Tuesday morning as a large generator is being moved through the Perryman area, Harford County Department of Public Works officials said Monday.
Constellation Energy will move the generator to the Perryman peninsula Monday evening and complete the trip on Tuesday morning, Harford County officials reported.
The generator will be parked overnight along the shoulder of Chelsea Road in the area of the Michaelsville bypass, so motorists should exercise extreme caution and heed traffic control devices in place, officials said.

The following roads will be affected, according to the report:
- Interstate 95
- MD 543
- US 40
- MD 7
- MD 159
- Chelsea Road
“Please exercise caution when in [these] areas,” Harford County officials advised. “Be aware that the unit will be parked along the shoulder of the road at night and follow the signals” of traffic control devices.
