Hit And Run Sent 1 To Trauma Center: Harford Sheriff

Witnesses are wanted in this Harford County hit-and-run case.

PERRYMAN, MD — Authorities are asking for help in a recent hit-and-run case. The victim survived his injuries after being hit on Chelsea Road, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, which said the vehicle took off afterward.

The victim was walking in the 500 block of Chelsea Road when he was hit by a vehicle around 9:19 p.m. on Friday, March 9, officials said. The driver of the vehicle left without stopping at the scene of the crash near the intersection of Woodley Road, according to investigators.

A passing motorist stopped upon seeing the injured man and called 911, authorities said.

The 43-year-old victim was taken to a local trauma center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to the sheriff's office.
