Holiday Art Gallery Opens in Historic Havre de Grace

The Public Art Committee in Havre de Grace is sponsoring a Holiday Gallery at 220 N. Washington Street in downtown Havre de Grace for eight (8) weekends beginning Friday, November 4 through December 24. Artworks in various mediums from local and regional artists and artisans will be on sale including paintings, photography, textiles, jewelry, pottery, and glassware and much more. There will be special performances and demonstrations for all to enjoy. Proceeds will benefit the Public Art Committee in Havre de Grace.

“The Public Art Committee, under the umbrella of the nonprofit Community Projects of Havre de Grace, will continue the amazing efforts already underway to transform this historic city into an even more beautiful and sustainable cultural and heritage destination,” said Bill Watson, Chairman of the Havre de Grace Public Art Committee and owner of Elementary Design by Watson in Havre de Grace. “We are truly thankful for the support of the City in this creative venture.”

Local nonprofits are invited to use this beautiful space during the holiday season on Mondays through Thursdays for holiday gatherings or meetings- at no charge. Plus the Holiday Gallery will donate 10% of any art sales that occur during the time of the event!

Hours of operation are Fridays and Saturdays from 12noon to 8pm; Sundays from 12noon to 6pm. Extended hours are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, November 25 and 26 from 11am to 8pm. The Holiday Gallery will be open from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, December 24 for those last minute gifts.
