Langston, whose last known address was in the 4800 block of Atlas Cedar Way in Aberdeen, was pronounced deceased and taken to the chief medical examiner’s office for an autopsy, the sheriff’s office reported.
The other suspects fled the scene and have not been found, Kahler said Monday afternoon.
A helicopter, K-9 units and state troopers along with sheriff’s deputies canvassed the area Sunday night looking for them, according to the report.
Although investigators interviewed a number of people overnight, they continue to seek information, the sheriff’s office reported.
The motive for the home invasion is still under investigation; however, detectives do not believe this was a random act, according to the report.
