House Fire Breaks Out In Abingdon: Abingdon Fire Company
Multiple fire companies sent crews to an Abingdon house fire Wednesday morning, officials said.
ABINGDON, MD — A house fire broke out in Abingdon Wednesday morning, according to the Abingdon Fire Company. Its crews worked with several other fire companies to battle the blaze.
Before 8 a.m., firefighters said they were called to the 400 block of Sutton Place for the house fire.
The fire occurred within the furnace and extended into the walls of the home, according to the Abingdon Fire Company.
