Crews Battle House Fire In Abingdon

ABINGDON, MD — Firefighters are battling a house fire in Abingdon Wednesday morning, according to officials. Crews from several fire companies have converged at the scene.

The fire is in the 3700 block of Federal Lane, according to the Abingdon Fire Company, which is battling the blaze with the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Comopany and Aberdeen Fire Department.

At 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, Joppa-Magnolia said its crew was assisting Abingdon firefighters, who reportedly saw fire showing at the residence when they arrived.
