House Fire On East Broadway Under Investigation: Bel Air VFC
The fire marshal is investigating a Monday afternoon blaze in Bel Air that officials said drew firefighters from five fire companies.
BEL AIR, MD — A house fire broke out Monday afternoon in Bel Air. Firefighters from five fire companies were among those who assisted in battling the blaze on East Broadway.
Crews responded to the working house fire in the 400 block of East Broadway at 4:05 p.m. on Monday, April 1, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Nobody was injured, and the people who lived in the home were able to escape safely, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

Gardiner said that crews from Bel Air, Abingdon, Joppa, Fallston and Kingsville responded to the house fire.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the blaze.
