Huskies Win! Patterson Mill Claims State Title For Girls Basketball
The Patterson Mill Huskies battled the Southern Rams in the MPSSAA class 1A championship.

TOWSON, MD — The Patterson Mill Huskies played their way to the state title in the class 1A girls basketball championship Saturday evening.
The Huskies handily beat the Southern Garrett Rams, 59-43, for the class 1A championship in the Maryland Public Secondary School Athletic Association (MPSSAA).
It's the third time the girls have won the state title.

Southern came in second in the state — and it wasn't the first time; according to the Times-News, this was the third consecutive year for the Rams coming in as the runner-up.

The game occurred at 6 p.m. on Saturday the SECU Arena at Towson University.
