I-95 Crash Clears Near Route 543

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A crash snarled traffic on Interstate 95 north Wednesday afternoon near the exit for MD 543. Within an hour, it had cleared.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, which officials said occurred after 3:15 p.m.

During the emergency response, two right lanes were closed on I-95 north before the exit for MD 543. The left shoulder and far left lane remained open.

Backups on Interstate 95 north stretched to the exit for MD 24.

By 4 p.m., authorities said that all lanes had reopened.
