I-95 Drivers, Watch For 9/11 Flag Waving

The flag waving will be visible during rush hour on Interstate 95 on Monday, Sept. 11.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD - Drivers heading home from work Monday will see people paying tribute to the victims of 9/11. A flag waving ceremony is planned for the evening rush hour on an overpass along Interstate 95 near the Baltimore-Harford county line on Monday, Sept. 11.

Firefighters, community groups and Delegate Pat McDonough will wave the flag to remember those victims and families affected by 9/11. This year marks the 16th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people.

Anyone is welcome to join the flag wavers on the overpass of MD 152 at Interstate 95. Parking will be at the Park and Ride on Mountain Road/MD 152.

The flag waving is set for 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11.
