Inmate Flown to Shock Trauma After Suicide Attempt: Harford Sheriff
Officials said an inmate at the Harford County Detention Center attempted suicide on Valentine's Day.

BEL AIR, MD ā An inmate was taken by helicopter to shock trauma Tuesday after attempting suicide at the Harford County Detention Center, officials said.
At 4:23 p.m., deputies were alerted to the situation in the 1000 block of Rock Spring Road, where medical attention was provided, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
A helicopter airlifted the inmate to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, officials reported.
