Jackknifed Tractor-Trailer on I-95 South Jammed Traffic

Fuel spill cleanup prompted multiple lane closures Saturday morning on Interstate 95.

Traffic was stacked up for hours on Interstate 95 south of Joppa Saturday morning due to a jack-knifed tractor-trailer, according to transportation officials.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 5 a.m. in the area of milepost 70.1.

Three lanes were blocked on I-95 south past the exit for MD 152/Mountain Road as crews worked to clear the crash and associated fuel spill. Hazardous materials personnel were at the scene.
