​Janette Leanne Gable, 18, of Bel Air

Janette Leanne Gable of Bel Air died at the age of 18 on Nov. 13, 2016, at her home.

She was born in Baltimore to John A. Gable of Abingdon and Margaret A. (Arzate) Gable of Bel Air.

She attended Bel Air High School, where she was a senior, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved animals and also enjoyed drawing, writing stories, reading and watching movies. Other hobbies included music, photography and the outdoors. She was a member of a teen group through the Epilepsy Foundation.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Joseph A. Arzate Sr., wife, Alyssa, and nephew, Joseph A. Arzate Jr. of Bel Air; her boyfriend, Grady McDonald of Bel Air; and her grandparents, John and Carol Gable of Florence, South Carolina. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Joe and Margarita Arzate.

There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1 St. Mary's Church Road, Abingdon, MD US 21009.
