​Jason Lewis McFillin, 27, Of Abingdon

Jason Lewis McFillin, 27, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on Aug. 17, 2017 at his home.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the eldest son of Jeffery Len and Angela Marie (Hawkins) McFillin.

Jason loved animals, especially his little dog Bandit. He loved the Ravens and Orioles, going crabbing and fishing and working in a bucket truck.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McFillin is survived by his stepmother, Laura McFillin; siblings, Alyssa Marie McFillin, Cpl. Joseph Aaron McFillin, Stephen Andrew McFillin, James Lane McFillin, Ruth Mariah McFillin, and Peter Jacob McFillin; maternal grandparents, Jack L and Jane Bell Hawkins; paternal grandparents, James L and Lucinda M McFillin; Uncle Jon and Aunt Yvette Hawkins, Uncle Ronald and Aunt Julie McFillin; cousins, Justin and Jared Hawkins, and Abigail Rose McFillin.

Visitation was Monday, Aug. 21, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, 1317 Cokesbury Rd., Abingdon, MD 21009.

The service was at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Church of Reconciliation, 128 N. Bond Street, Bel Air, MD 21014.

Burial was Aug. 22 at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.
