Joppa Crash Involving Chlorine Injures 3: Officials
A vehicle carrying pool chlorine was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Mountain Road Thursday: Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

JOPPA, MD — Three people were hospitalized from a crash that drew hazmat personnel Thursday morning to Joppa, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
Officials said the multi-vehicle crash occurred on MD 152 at Old Mountain Road around 10:45 a.m.
Joppa-Magnolia took one man in critical condition to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by ambulance, while two men were transported to Upper Chesapeake in stable condition.

Because one of the vehicles was carrying chlorine for swimming pools, the hazardous materials experts from Harford County were called in to check for leaks.
MD 152 was blocked between Old Joppa Road and Stockton Road.
