Junius Brutus Booth and Tudor Hall - Sunday, May 1, 2pm

Jim Garrett will give a special talk on “Junius Brutus Booth & Tudor Hall” this Sunday, May 1. Jim is a life-long Lincoln Assassination and Booth enthusiast, a volunteer at Ford’s Theatre and a tour guide for Washington DC’s Old Town Trolley Tours. He is also a co-author of The Lincoln Assassination: Where Are they Now? A Guide to the Burial Places of Individuals Connected to the Lincoln Assassination in Washington, D.C. and The Flags of Ford’s Theatre. The presentation starts at 2:00 pm and lasts about 45 minutes. Tudor Hall is located at 17 Tudor Lane, Bel Air, MD 21015. $5.00 cash for those age 13 and older.
This day will also mark Junius Brutus Booth Sr’s 220th birthday. Born in 1796, Junius was an English stage actor. He was the father of John Wilkes Booth, an actor and the assassin of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln; Edwin Booth, the foremost tragedian of the mid-to-late 19th century; and Junius Brutus Booth, Jr., an actor and theatre manager.
