K9 Marco Detects Drugs In Vehicle During Traffic Stop: Police
Aberdeen Police K9 Marco alerted his handler to the presence of drugs in a vehicle that had been pulled over for a traffic stop.
ABERDEEN, MD — During a routine traffic stop, K9 Marco detected narcotics that led officers to arrest a Parkville driver.
On the evening of Feb. 13, an Aberdeen police officer pulled over a vehicle. Aberdeen Police Department K9 Marco went to work and scanned the vehicle. K9 Marco alerted the officer to the presence of narcotics, according to police.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the officer uncovering individually packaged crack cocaine, suspected fentanyl capsules and a digital scale with residue consistent with drug distribution, the police department stated.

The driver, Mackinley C. Williams Jr., 44, of Parkville, was taken into custody without incident and charged with felony drug distribution and related offenses.
