Knife Found Near Prospect Mill Elementary: Report

BEL AIR, MD — A knife was reportedly found this week outside Prospect Mill Elementary School. The weapon was removed from the parking lot of the school in the 100 block of Prospect Mill Drive in Bel Air.

Parents found a foot-long machete under a snow bank, where it was believed to have been pushed by a plow, according to WBAL.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office destroyed the knife, which was discovered Monday morning in an area that is not frequented by students, ABC 2 News reported, citing a letter from the school's principal.
