Kitchen Fire In Edgewood Reported

Firefighters were called to a residence Monday night in Edgewood where they said smoke was showing.

EDGEWOOD, MD — A kitchen fire drew the crews to Edgewood Monday night. The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported it was assisting the Abingdon Fire Company at the scene before 6:30 p.m.

Firefighters saw smoke showing when they first arrived at the single-family home in the 600 block of Lacewood Drive, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

Upon investigating the issue, crews said they located a kitchen fire in the residence.
