Klein's ShopRite In Bel Air Reopens With New Bakery, Deli, Display Cases, Food Choices

BEL AIR, MD — Shoppers returning to the recently reopened Klein's ShopRite on Main Street in Bel Air will find a renovated produce department, expanded dairy and frozen foods equipment, an enlarged meat and seafood department with new choices, plus an all-new deli and bakery.

“We’re thrilled to share that our Main Street store’s remodel is complete. As with everything we do, the store was redesigned with our customers in mind. We hope everyone enjoys the modern feel and upgraded shopping experience,” said president and CEO Marshall Klein.

Klein's has nine stores including six in Harford County. The Klein family, who lives in Harford County, opened its first store for Marylanders in 1925. Klein told Patch that even the parking lot at the Bel Air store was repaved as part of the renovation, along with new lighting, flooring, store decor, shelving and a new designated online pickup location.

"We hope our customers will enjoy the additional variety we added to the store. Our family understood that Main Street was always a smaller store and that was part of its charm for our customers. We wanted to retain the same 'in town' feel of the location, while also expanding the services and products that our customers have come to expect from us in other stores," Klein told Patch.

During a recent grand reopening celebration, the Klein family made numerous charitable donations. The charities were selected by Klein’s ShopRite team members and included:

• Pathfinders for Autism ($1,000)
• Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company ($1,000)
