Knifepoint Robbery at Forest Hill Gas Station Under Investigation: Police

FOREST HILL, MD — Authorities say they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon at a Forest Hill gas station.
At 1:30 p.m., a man entered the Exxon in the 2000 block of Rock Spring Road and showed he had a knife, the clerk told Maryland State Police.
The suspect walked behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash, then left, officials said.

He was described as a clean-shaven white man in his early 20s wearing a mask. He was clad in navy-and-brown athletic shorts over gray sweatpants as well as a white sweater with brown stripes, a black hat and black Nike sneakers, police said.
Despite an area canvass including the use of a K-9 officer, police said authorities were unable to locate the suspect.
