BP Robbed with Large Knife, Suspect Info Wanted: Harford Sheriff

There's a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information, Harford County Sheriff's Office reports.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying the man suspected of robbing the BP gas station in Edgewood Monday morning.

After 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, a man armed with a large knife went up to the counter of the gas station in the 2200 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood and demanded money, according to the sheriff’s office. A YouTube video from the store’s surveillance camera shows the man jumping over the counter to take the cash.

The suspect was described as approximately 5’8” and was wearing a black mask, black hoodie and gray jeans at the time of the robbery.

A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information. To be eligible, tipsters must use one of the following methods for submitting tips: send a tip online through Harford County Sheriff’s Office; text the tip to Metro Crime Stoppers at 274637 with “MCS” plus the message; or call Harford Crime Solvers at 1-888-540-8477.
