La Cakerie to Open on Main Street in Bel Air
The bakery owner and Food Network chef is returning to his hometown in the heart of Harford County.

BEL AIR, MD — There will soon be a new place in Bel Air to have your cake and eat it too. La Cakerie is planning to open up a bakery and cafe on Main Street.
It marks a homecoming for nationally celebrated chef Jason Hisley.
Before wowing judges on the Food Network — winning "Cake Wars" earlier this year and "Cupcake Wars" in 2011 — Hisley grew up in Bel Air. In fact, he was head pastry chef at Bel Air's Flavor Cupcakery when the store won "Cupcake Wars."
