Construction Project Calls For Lane Closures Along MD 543 Starting Sunday

Lane closures will be required along a mile stretch of MD 543 starting Sunday for a road project that should wrap up this fall.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Drivers should plan for lane closures along MD 543 as crews start working on the pavement Sunday between the I-95 interchange and Brass Mill Road.

The $1.1 million project targets a one-mile stretch of road and work should be wrapped up by fall, weather permitting.

Starting Sunday at 9 p.m., crews will patch, mill and resurface asphalt pavement. Work will run until 5 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays and single-lane closures will take effect on the two-lane portion of MD 543.
