Lane Closures Expected During Bridge Rehabilitation Project In Harford County

Drivers should expect lane closures on the MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) bridge over Grays Run as part of a $420K rehabilitation project.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) bridge over Grays Run southwest of Aberdeen will remain open during a rehabilitation project that started June 19 but will require lane closures.

Weather permitting, the $420,000 bridge project will wrap up by the end of summer. The work is part of the State Highway Administration’s bridge system preservation program and includes rehabilitation of the bridge deck, replacement of the parapets and installation of new guardrail on both roadway approaches to the bridge.

The bridge, located on MD 7 between Holly Oak Circle and South Stepney Road, will have weekday lane closures with flagging operations controlling two-way traffic between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., and overnight Sundays through Thursdays 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
